Comic PNG free images that you can use in your graphic design projects to create comic book effects.

Cartoon Sound Effects

The pack contains 15 cartoon sound effects in PNG format with transparent background (try my Photoshop action for removing white background).

The size of the comic book effects is 1500x1000px, 300dpi.

If you want to create posters, flyers, templates in comic book style, use the comic PNG images.

Comic Book Style

A comic book or simply comic is a compilation of comic strips that depicts stories of all genres, not necessarily stories that have a humorous tone.

The comic panels are accompanied by descriptive text and dialog contained in speech bubbles that are emblematic for comics art.

Comic books were first popularized in the United States and the United Kingdom during the 1930s. Since then, they went through countless transformations.

The first big comic book hero was Superman (June 1938), while Wonder Woman (December 1941) was the first female superhero. Other famous comic heroes are: Batman, Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Green Lantern, etc.

You can also use speech bubbles for the text. Pick a comic font that you like and add a text on the comic PNG images that don’t have a comic sound effect added.

These comic effects and cartoon sound effects are in PNG format so they can be used in Photoshop, Gimp, Photopea and any other graphic design software. I suggest you download the comic strip template set and use it to create your own comic book pages.

You can also use these comic effects for your website or blog as logos, header backgrounds, etc.
